Can someone please advise what to expect in terms of a typical sea condition on the way from Virgin Gorda to Anegada? We are planning to rent a 43' Power Cat in December '08 and some of our team members do not take very well high waves for a long time.

Some publications state it is always very rough due to an open ocean, while others state it's not bad and depends on the season.

Would appreciate any advice and/or tips in these regards...

That stretch of water is normally not very rough. It is not really open sea, as it is relatively shallow and protected for the most part by Horseshoe Reef, which lies to the east, and the shallower water between Horseshoe Reef and Virgin Gorda.

There may be some larger swells, but the ride is usually not too bad.

The seas do get quite a bit rougher as you get farther to the west or to the north of Anegada.
