Has anyone used the customs in VG? We are chartering from CYOA in STT and trying to decide between VG or JVD customs. Which do you prefer?
Thanks

Both are pretty easy. Just depends where you are headed.

Jvd no doubt most laid back custom officer I know

VG is easy as well but a bit more stiff and it's a longer walk Smile

We used Spanishtown VG coming in from Grenada on a delivery a few years ago.

Easy peasy, even though it was noonish, and we thought they'd be gone for lunch.

We got gipped though - we didn't have the proper change for the forms... I think we lost like $0.80! LOL

I think we will go to JVD then. Can't decide if we wanted to go counter clockwise or not. What about the forms. I have read on here to have them already filled out. Where would we get those?

You get the forms at the custom office.
typically only the captain goes ashore with everybody's passport and the boat documents after hoisting the Q flag

Unless you are dropping crew, as we did, we all went ashore and it was fine.

Watch where you put your dinghy, as the ferry comes in and out at the same dock where the customs office is in Spanishtown.
