We ate dinner at this place last month and the food was terrible. The service is slow and the employees are rude. The rum at the bar is the cheapest stuff available and they charge way too much for it. I tried to complain to the owner and found out he is an A HOLE that does not want to hear how crappy his place is. I will never go back and I suggest that you do not go either.

Hi

Certainly not our experience at all. Every time we go there, I have goat curry which is to die for. The same goes for their Dark and Stomies - the ginger concentrate ids to die for as well. When we were, the only help there was the owner, a great guy. Ask to look at the family water colors. And them there's the Loose Mongoose. Can't beat the choices, especially fresh off the plane. Just our $0.02.

Peace

Also have to disagree. The Cyber Cafe is one of our must-do's every trip. Sandwiches are awesome, and chatting with Jeremy is always interesting, to say the least. Have never left there that I wasn't smiling.

To each his own.

We have been to the Cyber Cafe many, many times and have had nothing but good experiences there. The food has always been quite good, and usually a bit different from the normal offerings. The service has also been excellent.

No complaints from us, who will always stop in at the Cyber Cafe any time we get a chance.

I found the guy to be surly and rude (heavyset British bloke). I tried to engage him with conversation but he was having none of it. I remember wondering how anyone could have such a miserable attitude working and living in that setting. God...I'd give my right arm....

The food was ok. I don't remember what we had... I think a hot sandwich? Honestly can't recall.

I went to the Cyber Cafe this past February after reading all the great reviews and was dissapointed by the food and will not spend my money there again.
Been to the Loose Mongoose and the food was great there. Had my first Roti there and the waitress was wonderful. Just my $.02.....Al

Been to Cyber many times as well. Awesome sandwiches are great, breakfast is great..Cyber Cafe is a must when departing or arriving. Owner, just take with a grain of salt, that's the way he always was, but will remember you in upcoming trips. Never had a bad experience there. I think the attitude and expectations have a lot to do with it. My two cents as well.

When we ate lunch there last July, went up to pay, and as I waited behind a young lady Jeremy asked if we were together - replied no, and he said, "that's very strange, as you both have a sort of purple aura - usually only see that in people who are a couple- maybe you should be?". cracked me up, mostly because he MEANT it!

Newbie to the board, but have visited the BVI numerous times. Have eaten at both the cyber cafe and the Loose Mongoose often. Goat curry, and english breakfast at cyber cafe are great, and the cheese burgers, Rotis, and F&C's at the Loose Mongoose always do the trick. Just ate at both back in January. Will be doing a land based trip to Virgin Gorda in the early fall, will visit both in our travels then I'm sure.

Heading out for a day of parades. It's Carnival season in New Orleans.

WHO DAT!!!
