Hello all

We have chartered US/BVI's several times with Island Yachts, STT...good people, love the Island Packet boats, a little pricey.....but we are likely adding a crew member this next time and will need to upsize... and so are looking to keep it affordable..

Any comment/recommendation on either CYOA or Virgin Island Sailing, Ltd.? That combination looks to have a reasonable ate on several 40 ft +/- monohulls....

If you want a USVI or STT company look at VIP . We have used them 6+ times and have been very pleased. Their base is at the eastern end of STT and will save some time going to windward to get to the BVI and St John.

I also like VIP, although their sailing fleet is getting pretty thin. No more 40's, maybe one 45, one 49, and the Hylas 54. They may have one smaller cat. I believe they are going to concentrate on power as the s/v's leave the fleet.

CYOA is great. We almost always charter with them if we're going to the VI.
