Back in the days I always anchored inside the reef in front of Neptune's. JD just told me that they have put moorings there too.....
Never anchored at Pomato before.
How is the approach ?
I'm also a bit concerned about the dinghy ride if it's blowing 20 +

What do you recommend ?

Pomato is rolly right now. Setting Point will be much more comfortable.

In addition to the moorings you can anchor in front of Neptune's too.
If the wind is up, the closer the better. You can get splashed pretty good shuttling to and fro.
There's a little room behind the moorings to anchor.
it's shallow between the moorings and Neptunes'... I saw a famous sailing dawg kicking up mud there a couple of years back.
